*Tarot of Mystical Moments*
> [!leaf] What Matters
A new sense of clarity about something is the central message of this card. The something might be an intellectual or spiritual breakthrough, a new idea or perspective, the start of a plan, an epiphany, even an entirely new way of thinking. You might be getting messages from your inner self, or perhaps you are seeing an external situation as it truly is. Either way, you are feeling crystal clear and able to take decisive action. Taking action is an essential piece of this card’s advice. As Mariana Louis writes in *Tarot and the Psychology of the Soul*, this is not a moment of serene contemplation, but rather *it is time to trust our agency and sovereignty in ruling our lives.* (p.79)
The shadow of [[Ace of Swords]] is allowing either emotions or logic to make unilateral decisions, and refusing necessary action.
> [!leaf] Actions to Take
1. This is a good time to take a second look at problems that have been plaguing you. Consider whether you’ve been too emotional and need to be more objective, or too intellectual and need to trust your intuition.
2. Move ahead on something you’ve often thought about but never taken action on.
3. Look for areas where you’ve been less than honest with yourself. This is a time when you can see things as they really are, and you can have a new beginning.
4. Journal or freewrite in response to the following questions or quote:
- Where do I need more clarity in my life?
- How and from whom did I learn to make decisions? Is that process still working for me?
- What issue do I need to face head-on?
- What core truths do I need to speak up about?

> [!leaf] Symbols
Those six golden leaves are called yods. *Spiritual Tarot* and others say they are symbols of divine energy and gifts. *Holistic Tarot* says they are leaves from the Tree of Life.
*Spiritual Tarot* interprets the purple and blue mountains as abstract truth, and the sword as the sword of equilibrium.
The greenery hanging from the crown could be material attainment, or victory in general.
