Minor Arcana represent our daily activities and challenges. They are still archetypal, but not as strong as the [[Major Arcana]] so they are more relatable.
When reading Minor Arcana cards, pay attention to the suit, because that tells you what part of life is being activated. Also attend to the number or the court card because that tells you what is happening — what stage of development, what movement, or what tension.
In a multi-card reading, look to see if there is a concentration of certain suits or certain numbers. That will help to determine the reading’s thematic emphasis. It’s also worth noticing what suits are missing because that speaks to missing energy.
Ace to ten in any suit forms it’s own cycle. When you get to ten, you return to Ace. Court cards are a separate system.
By paying attention to the suit’s overall theme and the meaning of the number, you can fairly easily pull out the basic meaning of the Minors.
