Up: [[Place]] Created: 2023-07-12 Updated: 2026-01-18 A designated creative space primes your brain so that when you step into that space, the creative mindset you need will be triggered. This is true as long as you use the space **consistently**. A few suggestions: - It doesn’t have to be a whole room. It can be a favourite chair where you always sit to write. - If it’s a temporary space or you’re on the road, it can be helpful to have a totem of creativity. For example, your favourite fountain pen or a postcard of an artwork that inspires you. - If you are fortunate enough to have a dedicated space, have those totems of creativity (anything that inspires you) along with place where you display some of your own work. - Try to zone work areas according to activity.
