This practice can be done anywhere at any time.
When first starting it, Baker suggests standing with your hands at your sides and devoting at least a minute to each of the six steps. But once you’re used to it, you can be sitting or lying down and can go through the steps more quickly.
### Earth Body
#### Ground
Let your attention go to wherever your body connects with the earth.
#### Relax
Notice where there’s tension in your body and release it by inhaling a few slow deep breaths at those spots and exhaling the tension.
### Subtle Body
#### Open
Feel your posture lengthen, your shoulders relax, your chest open.
Start with your heart area and open up heart, ears, nose, eyes, mouth, and mind.
#### Untangle
Scan your body and mind.
Notice any feelings and where they live in your body.
Befriend the feelings. Make room for them with kindness.
### Body of Truth
#### Nurture
Raise your gaze and scan your visual environment, while keeping your gaze soft.
Let your mind expand outward. Nurture awareness.
#### Dissolve
Relax all effort, stop trying to do anything at all.
Let all practices melt into space and feel the oneness, the no separation between self and world, body and mind.
