### Inhale/Exhale Time
Define what kind of effort is exhale. For example it might be teaching, writing, working.
And what kind is inhale; maybe reading, absorbing, walking
In PKM, maybe inhale is Add, exhale is Express.
Or it could be other headings such as heart, mind, body.
The headings could be different colours so they really stand out on a calendar.
### Pace Layers
This is the idea of arranging pauses for different periods of time, like day, week, month or year.
Each layer reinforces the others. May not be able to do all layers but try to do a few. At the very least it reinforces a non-linear sense of time.
### Scanner
This one is about visualizing how time feels so you can figure out where to put in pauses.
Use I for sharp, intense, busy, speed times. O is for calm and spacious experiences.
Think about any time period — day, week, month, year, season, lifetime.
Use as many ones and zeros as you wish. It’s not a case of allocating digits to match a half hour or whatever. It’s about perception, so maybe three zeros for a ten minute experience if it felt really dreamy.
Then look at the shape of the time, the experience of it. How does it feel? Where would you like to put in pauses?
