Up: [[Water-Based Media]] Created: 2026-02-08 Charging is when you add a different colour over top of wet paint. Glazing is when you add a different colour over top of dry paint. Both give you a different effect than when you mix colours on a palette. You can add layer over layer over layer and get some gorgeous transparencies. In theory, anyway. I haven’t been able to achieve that yet.
