Up: [[Illustrated Journals]] Created: 2015-09-16 I’m amazed by how much I love working in my art journal. I love seeing what I will create. I love not knowing in advance, working with a plan that forms in the moment. I love how art journaling makes me feel calm, centered, and happy. Most of the time, I love the results. They aren’t like any of the books about art journaling. I don’t want layers, the messiness of torn pages, stuff stuck everywhere. I like white space, I like order. I like my art to have meaning for me, to have it relate to my life, to my day, in some way. So I guess, in the formal definition of things, my interest is really in illustrated journaling.
