What am I afraid of? - If I were an animal, what kind would I be? - What fascinates me about the animal? - Why do I have a particular animal in a dream? #### Ways to Come Up with an Animal - Recall a favourite childhood story with animals. Some ideas: *Charlotte’s Web*; *Stuart Little*; *Black Beauty*; *Hare and the Tortoise*; *Peter Rabbit*; *Winnie the Pooh*; fairy tales or myths - A dream, past or present - Encounters with animals, past or present - Pets, past or present - Animals you fear. For me, large snakes and polar bears would head the list. #### Work with the Animal Make multiple studies of the animal. Either use a variety of different media because that will bring out different aspects.
