Henri Rousseau was considered the godfather of Naïve Art. Here's his painting, 'The Dream'. He painted it after visiting botanical gardens. The woman is his mistress.

The rules of naïve art are that there are no rules. Do as you wish. If you want to include a pink snake, a nude woman or a divan in a jungle as Henri Rousseau did, go for it. It doesn’t matter if it has no connection to the real world.
Take any detail and turn it into a repeating motif — i.e., the flowers
Use lots of bright saturated colour.
Ignore the rules of perspective. Put things wherever you want.
Be serious only about being playful.
