Up: [[Water-Based Media]] Created: 2022-11-27 Udpated: 2025-11-14 When artists, at least the art teachers I have been listening to, talk about paint consistency, they compare it to food or drinks. - Straight out of the tube so maybe 90 paint to 10 water is mustard or honey. - 50/50 water and paint is heavy cream. - 80 water and 20 paint is soy sauce with wasabi or it’s tea. - 90 water to 10 paint is soy sauce or weak tea.
